This was predominantly a photograph so we turned it into a jigsaw with 79 pieces and have these added in the order that a jigsaw puzzler might do: outline first, the houses around the edge, the bridges and finish off with the remaining river pieces. Changing the order in which the pieces were displayed was quite straightforward so we changed the order that the jigsaw was put together for each conference that it was shown at.
Effectively 79 copies of the photograph are being drawn with each one clipped to the size of a specific piece. Most SVG implementations cope with this pretty well.
We were surprised at the aspect ratio of the photograph we were given initially until we realised that the logo designers had squashed the image in the X-direction. The river is actually wider than the logo implies.
We shared the Opening Session in Budapest with a popular Hungarian group of violinists called Princess.
