Mr. Leventhal is the architect of Firefox and Mozilla Gecko accessibility. He architected and delivered accessibility in Firefox 1.5 running on Microsoft Windows, including accessibility support for DHTML and XUL applications. Mr. Leventhal is currently leading the work to make Firefox accessible on Linux. He also advises various standards bodies on accessibility issues, including the W3C and a group advancing Open Document Format accessibility. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Leventhal was the accessibility architect for Mozilla development at Netscape. From 1990 - 2000, Mr. Leventhal worked at Raised Dot Computing on a Braille publishing system called MegaDots, which is used by Braille readers, teachers and publishers.

Rhys Lewis is Chief Scientist for Volantis Systems Ltd. He is chair of the W3C Device Independence Working Group. He is also Volantis' W3C Advisory Committee representative and member of the Mobile Web Initiative Steering Council. Rhys has been with Volantis since the beginning, and has helped it to grow into one of the world's foremost providers of software and services that deliver the mobile web. In his current role, Rhys leads Volantis product and technology research efforts as well as being responsible for its involvement in standards development. Prior to that, he lead the Volantis' product architectecure team. Before joining Volantis, Rhys had a long career with IBM, which included spells in research, in development and in consultancy. He was one of the original designers of IBM's Websphere MQ message queuing middleware product. He has also published books on message queuing and on digital image processing. Rhys holds a degree in Biophysics from the University of Leeds, and Ph.D. in Biophysics from Kings College, University of London.

RNIB's most experienced web accessibility consultant, Donna has had a varied career, from writing data analysis programs on early desktop computers in the 1970's to providing technical support to customers of a CD-ROM publishing company in the 90's. A contract post at British Airways then led to her creating and managing several department websites on the company intranet. She has been an enthusiastic user of online systems for over 20 years, and has seen at first hand the positive impact they can have on the lives of people with disabilities. This, combined with her work at BA, made her aware of the barriers that can be created by inaccessible web design. Donna joined RNIB in March 2000, creating RNIB's 'See it Right' accessible website consultancy. In 2001, the 'See it Right' Accessible Website logo was launched, and has been very successful in encouraging companies to improve the accessibility of their websites. The consultancy now has a full-time administrator and four full-time consultants. The team carries out website accessibility audits and provides consultancy on accessible web design to a wide range of companies and organisations around the UK, and a few outside the UK. Donna is an experienced public speaker, and has given talks about web accessibility at many seminars and conferences in the UK and Europe.
