Presenter: Lincoln Stein


Web security involves server-side, client-side, and transmission security, all of which will be addressed.

Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to the following: Unix and NT security issues, firewalls, mirrors, setting up client "publish" services, and writing safe CGI scripts.

Instructor bio:

Lincoln Stein is Director of Informatics at the Whitehead Institute/MIT Center for Genome Research, one of the world's most respected biomedical research sites. Dr. Stein also teachers as Harvard Medical School, and is the author of several articles in the fields of computer science and medical research.
