WWW2008 PROGRAM UPDATE: PANELS, DEVELOPER TRACK, INDUSTRIAL TRACK, WWW IN CHINA TRACK, AND THE W3C TRACK

The WWW2008 program has been updated with the latest information on several tracks. For details, see an overview of the complete conference program and the color-coded full program.

DEADLINE FOR NORMAL REGISTRATION: MARCH 24

Normal registration ends on March 24, 2008. Registration fees will increase after this deadline. For more information and access to the online registration system

REMINDER: HOTEL RESERVATION

There are only a limited number of hotel rooms left in the two conference hotels next to the conference facility (BICC). Please make your hotel reservation soon and identify yourself as a delegate for WWW2008 so that you can receive the special conference room rate. IBM, MICROSOFT, AND AT&T PROVIDE STUDENT TRAVEL SUPPORT

WWW 2008 has announced travel support for students to attend the conference. The goal of the travel support program is to encourage participation in the WWW 2008 conference by students who would normally find it difficult to attend due to the travel cost. WWW2008 organizers would like to thank IBM, Microsoft, and AT&T for their generous support. See the award results.

H3C CHOSEN AS WI-FI SPONSOR

H3C has been chosen as the Wi-Fi sponsor for WWW2008. H3C is a leading global supplier of IP-based products and solutions. BETAVINE SIGNS UP AS BRONZE SPONSOR

Betavine has signed up as a bronze sponsor for WWW2008.

116 POSTERS ACCEPTED

The WWW2008 posters program committee has accepted 116 posters (out of 240 submissions). Around 40 posters will be shown every day from April 23 to April 25. See the list of accepted posters.

CCF AND NSFC IN COOPERATION WITH WWW2008

China Computer Federation (CCF) is the largest national academic organization in China established in 1962.
