WWW2008 will be held at the Beijing International Convention Center, which is located in the commercial area of the Asian Games Village and is one of the busiest areas in Beijing. To save time on traffic, the WWW2008 organizers have negotiated special conference room rates from the two hotels which are just adjacent to the convention center. These two hotels are the Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing (北京五洲皇冠假日酒店) and the Continental Grand Hotel (北京五洲大酒庄1�77).

Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing (5-star)

Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing(*2) is a 5-star hotel with 477 guest rooms and 39 suites. It is only a short 25-minute drive from the Beijing Capital International Airport. See access guide. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is at 12:00 NOON. The hotel offers many amenities such as a Health & Fitness Center, spa, indoor swimming pool, beauty salon, restaurants and bars, etc. Internet access is available in guest rooms. WWW2008 delegates may select from superior room and deluxe room. Superior rooms equipped with 2 twin beds whereas king size bed is equipped in deluxe rooms. The special conference rate for a superior room is RMB1,480 per room daily or roughly US$203 / 138 Euro (reference only). Deluxe room rate is at RMB1,680 per room daily or roughly US$230 / 157 Euro (reference only). These special rates are inclusive of 15% surcharge, one daily buffet breakfast, complimentary use of gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool (except massage service). The hotel will honor the discounted rate from April 17 - 28, 2008. Internet service is available in guest rooms with charge at RMB120 per day. Reservations may be made via the secure booking platform provided by the Crowne Plaza Hotel if your stay period is between April 17 - 28, 2008. Credit card information for arrival guarantee is required for all bookings. Cancellations or modifications must be made with at least 72 hours notice before arrival or one night room charge will be charged to the credit card as late cancellation or no show penalty.

Continental Grand Hotel (4-star)

With 527 guest rooms, the Continental Grand Hotel is located just next to the convention center. See map. It gives the convenience to WWW2008 delegates in terms of location while offering us room rates at reasonable level. The daily room rate for standard single is RMB640 or US$85 / 60 Euro (reference only) and standard double is RMB720 or US$96 / 67 Euro (reference only). The rates include tax and one breakfast per person per day. These rates are also available 3 days before and 3 days after the conference period. Wired internet service is available in guest rooms with charge at RMB60 per day or RMB10 per hour. *** The Continental Grand Hotel is now fully booked. *** Cancellations or amendments must be made with at least 7 days notice to yuding@bcghotel.com or one night room charge will be applied accordingly.

Transportation

Taxi - Getting to the hotels from the Beijing Capital International Airport by taxi is very convenient. Taxi charge (one way) costs around RMB120 ~ RMB150. You may print the address (in Chinese) of the Crown Plaza Hotel and the Continetal Grand Hotel for showing to the taxi driver.

Limousine - The Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing Hotel also offers limousine airport pickup services. Prices range from RMB400 for an Audi A6 which is good for 3 passengers, to RMB580 for a 7-seater MPV. Rates are quoted on one way per car basis. Advance booking with arrival and/or departure flight information will be required.

Important Notes

1. Because there will be several other events taking place in the city, both hotels will review our blockage on January 30, 2008 and certain number of rooms in our room block may be released back to the hotel for other travellers. Please make your room reservation early.
