WWW2008 workshops are intended to advance knowledge, research, development, and professional practice in new and emerging fields of Web activity, providing a more focused, in-depth, and interactive environment than is possible in a traditional conference session.
The goal for a workshop is to bring designers, developers, information architects, practitioners and researchers together to exchange ideas and experiences, establishing common ground in research areas or practical problems and resulting in new contacts, new opportunities for collaboration and new directions for future activity.
Noted: All WWW2008 workshops will be held on April 22, 2008 (Tuesday). All workshops will be one-day.
Submission Details
All workshop proposals must include:

A two-paragraph description of the workshop's aim, topic, and content;

A statement of the workshop's scope and anticipated outcome;
-
A statement why you believe the workshop topic to be important and relevant to the WWW2008 timeframe;

A statement describing how the workshop registration will be managed (open or closed);
-
If workshop submissions will be solicited, a description of how these submissions will be evaluated;
-
A short description of your qualifications relative to the topic area including your past experience in organizing/facilitating workshops.
Workshop proposals should be submitted in PDF using the
submission site at EasyChair.
Do not use the two-column style, instead use a simple one-column style on letter-sized paper. Please fill out the
WWW2008 Workshop Proposal Template (word) before
submitting your proposal.
