Notes:

the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) should eliminate the discussion about which elements or attributes are still missing and how HTML should be extended. XML provides a basic set of elements, but can be extended by providing an individual DTD. the DTD must be accessible over the net, so that a browser can read the definitions and present the content accordingly.
