Brian Bolam

Brian Bolam is the co-founder, president & CEO of OmPrompt Inc., a venture capital backed company based in the UK providing a hosted message integration utility for the supply chain. OmPrompt automate the process of translating messages/data received in any format and transmit it to any other format on any communications device. In addition to the message mapping solution, the technology also enables data cleansing, data matching, data mapping & data transformation.

Brian has over 30 years experience in managing companies at director level. From 1997 through 1999, as president of Penske Logistics Europe, he conceived, developed and launched the first pan European freight management and optimisation centre in Maastricht, Netherlands. Prior to Penske Logistics, he was managing director for TNT Logistics Europe for twelve years.

During his time at TNT he sponsored the development of the first Global Supply Chain Event Management Software - (GLM), the IP of which was later sold to i2 Technologies.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT), a member of the Faculty of Freight & a board member of the European Logistics, Users, Providers & Enablers Group (ELUPEG) - the foremost pan European collaborative logistics organisation.

Brian qualified in Metallurgy from Sir John Cass College (City of London University) in 1968.
