Diego Anza

Diego Anza is mobile multimedia standardisation manager at Orange Group in Paris. A member of a small team reporting to Orange Group CTO, he is responsible for steering standardisation activities where Orange is involved either directly or through coordination with France Telecom in the area of multimedia services and applications. He is also responsible for ensuring the positions adopted by Orange delegates are aligned with internal marketing and technical strategy, and helps teams identify technology breakouts and then elaborate their strategy.

Diego is an active member of the Open Mobile Alliance. He is vice-chairman of the requirements working group and coordinator of the Orange delegation (one of the largest). He also has an important role in the GSM Association where he is a member of the services review group.

Diego joined the France Telecom Group in its R&D division in 2000. He worked in the development of innovative mobile services in different technology areas and became increasingly involved in standardisation overtime. In 2004, he joined the standardisation steering team at Orange.

Prior to joining the France Telecom Group, Diego worked for Nortel in the development of cellular network infrastructure. He has an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (France) and from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
