Kendra Base - a distributed semantic search and publish system prototype

  • Daniel Harris, Kendra, UK

Track: Developers

Slot: 16:00-17:30, Friday 26th May

Kendra Base is a distributed semantic search and publish system prototype. It's in it's early stages of production and design. However, it is up and running on the web in demo form. The drive to build Kendra Base came out of the need to build an open and level marketplace for digital media. To enable content owners to be part of a marketplace cloud whilst still keeping ownership of their data. So, they wont have to upload their content to a central server a la iTunes and Google.
