presented by david eichmann, university of houston, texas
the RBSE spider (Repository Based Software Engineering, name of a research program) is a program that creates and manipulates an orcale database which holds information about the web graph. the spider can perform several levels of search operations, from a breadth search starting with a given URL to a limited search from already known, unvisited URLs present in the database.
the indexer extracts information from the database and presents it in HTML format.
